[…] After a long recovery, he eventually got back in the water and had developed a new passion for not only surfing, but filming his peers. Sam and friend/fellow pro surfer Luke Cheadle released their debut movie, Glimpse with Waves in 2009 and have since been banging out bits and pieces of videographic gold. This is Sam’s latest work, titled Some Rain Must Fall. It features some melancholy, yet well-shot lifestyle stuff as well as two and a bit sick little minutes of Pagey smacking walls. Pagey reckons: “I’ve had this rain clip online for a week now and have had great feedback from respected surfers and film-makers. I put a lot of effort into it.” It shows.
