If you grew up, or have been involved with, the Australian surfing community in the last 20 years then chances are Dean ‘Dingo’ Morrison was in your top 5 favourite surfers list. He was, and still is for that matter, one of the most influential surfers for Aussie groms for quite some time. A Day In The Life and 3 Degrees helped shape many a surfer’s style today and both starred Dingo! Holding what most called the best roundhouse cutback in the business and arguably the most refined forehand barrel riding technique in the world it wasn’t hard to see why he was so loved.
Dingo has now fallen off the tour and has recently lost his major sponsor Volcom, but with the release of A Dingo’s Tale i’m sure the love for the man will spark and continue on. Long live the DINGO…
